Frequently Asked Questions
What is coaching?
- Coaching focuses on the individual, helping them to maximize their full potential to create positive changes in their life by clarifying goals and guiding them along the path to achieving those goals. Coaches can work one-on-one with individuals or couples, or even groups
- A sex coach, in particular, focuses on one’s thoughts, beliefs, and actions regarding sex and sexuality. They help people work through shame and guilt to a place of acceptance, freedom, & empowerment. Sex coaches may also teach clients sexual skills & give them permission to make pleasure a part of their lives.Â

Who hires a sex coach?
People hire a sex coach for several different reasons. One of the top stressors for couples is sex (i.e., not enough, too much, no passion, etc.). A sex coach can help couples sort through their concerns & differences. Here are just a few specific reasons people enlist the services of a sex coach…Â
- Low desire or a diminishing/mismatched libido
- Want to add some spice or passion to their relationship
- Want to gain more confidence & feel empowered in their sex life
- Want to learn more about human sexuality in general, or how it applies in their own life
- Think they are ‘broken’ (spoiler alert- you’re not broken)
- Not sure how to express their sexual desire & fantasies to their partner
Is coaching a type of therapy?
No. Coaching & therapy are very different. As a sex coach, I am not qualified to provide therapy to treat diagnosable conditions or address medical concerns. Should you need help that I am unable to provide, I will do my best to direct you to the appropriate resources.
How does one become a sex coach?
I received my certification as a Master Sexpert, Love & Relationship Coach through Loveology University. Certification requires extensive training and education on a wide variety of topics ranging from, but not limited to:
- Male & female anatomy

- Coaching tools & techniques
- And SO much more!
